The Eyes Right Toolkit is a simple vision screening system designed to detect reduced vision in individuals, particularly in clinical or community settings, and to encourage people to have regular eye examinations.
The system was developed by Professor David Thomson of City University, Dr Zahra Jessa and Professor Bruce Evans of the Institute of Optometry. Their work to develop the Eyes Right Toolkit was supported by Thomas Pocklington Trust.
Two third-year project students have developed a digital version to go alongside the paper-based version.
